Michael Hart, Esq.

J.D. University of Southern California

B.S. University of California, Irvine

Michael's practice focuses on counseling entrepreneurs and emerging businesses, as well as facilitating corporate transactions. Michael’s early experience as the owner of a general contracting business gave him first-hand knowledge of the challenges that his clients face. He brings this unique experience to bear by not only providing his clients with sound legal counsel, but efficient, common-sense solutions to help them achieve their goals.

Prior to founding Peer & Hart, PC, Michael was a transactional attorney at Fox Rothschild LLP where he provided counsel to a diverse group of clients in a wide range of legal matters, including business formation, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, financing, and mergers and acquisitions.

Outside of the office, Michael enjoys playing guitar, following the NBA, and defending his belongings from the claws of his mischievous cat, Bernie.

David Peer, Esq.

J.D. University of Southern California

B.S. University of California, Los Angeles

David assists startups and small businesses with corporate transactions, employment compliance, software-as-a-service agreements, and intellectual property licensing.

Prior to founding Peer & Hart, David worked in WilmerHale’s patent litigation group, helping to represent America’s largest corporations in high-stakes litigation. David has also litigated cases involving breach of contract, land-use, wrongful termination, and wage & hour claims. While David no longer litigates, his earlier litigation experience gives him a unique perspective among transactional attorneys, allowing him to structure deals and policies that minimize the risk of future litigation.

David spends his free time composing music, surfing, and exploring new restaurants with his wife, Allie.
